I have a virus scanner, but I still got a virus. Why?
Probable answer:
Having a virus scanner installed isn't enough, you need to keep it updated. Many scanners have an automatic update process to do this for you. Make sure yours is working correctly according to the directions.
Since there are so many different companies making virus scanners, we can't say in general how to do this.
Possible answer:
The virus is so new that the scanner you have did not know of it when your system was infected by it.

I have Microsoft Office 2003 but people are sending me attachments from Office 2007 which I can't seem to open. Do I need to upgrade to Office 2007 just to open these?
The simple answer is no. Microsoft has created a converter that you can install which will allow older Microsoft Office versions to open the newer 2007 formats.
You can obtain the converter by visiting the following Microsoft Webpage.
