Freeware / Shareware websites
No Nags
A good site to visit if you need some free (or almost free) software quickly. No nagging "Register me NOW" screens on the software from this site.
TuCows
If you can't find what you want for absolutely free, try shareware programs which are nearly free. Usually you will get 30 days to try the software out to see if it is what you want.
Software we like
Open Office
A free alternative to MS Office. Open Office is our choice for clients that don't wish to pay for word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation packages. Plus, Open office will open and save into multiple formats (including MS)
Grisoft AVG Anti-virus
If your looking for a good anti-virus package without all the extra spyware and firewall protection, try the free version of AVG. If you like what it does for you, consider purchasing for full spyware protection too!
Spybot Search and Destroy
If you want something to just remove the spyware that is on your computer, try Spybot Search and Destroy.
Super Anti-spyware
